Alice H Photography
I started Alice H Photography in 2016 when I first moved to Toronto. It was first a means of bringing in a little bit of extra income, but it quickly became one of my favorite ways to meet hundreds of incredibly talented, kind, entrepreneurial people.
Now based in Atlanta, I specialize in musician headshots. I also love doing family portraits and engagement shoots. I can’t wait to meet you and to shoot together! You can book a session with me here.

Alice did my photo shoot this past spring, and I've been getting compliments on my photos ever since. Incredible artistry and functionality, and unbelievably competitive prices. Highly recommended!

Alice did a great job on my photos and was so easy to work with. Thanks, Alice!

Alice is not only a skilled and artistic photographer, but also a nice and genuine person. There are many many photographers in the city, but you should ask her to take pictures if you think communication is important. She edited my photos based on both her professional insight and my request.

Alice was fantastic to work with, efficient, and tasteful. Our shoot was the best part of my day.

A standard session will last from 45 - 1 hr long, but a package deal will provide up to two hours of shooting time. If doing an outdoor session, I typically shoot within two hours of sunset for optimal lighting, and I will be shooting the pictures in RAW format. Where we go is totally up to you. If you are prone to being camera-shy, I recommend bringing a friend that brings out your most natural smile and laugh. If that's not ideal, a playlist that puts you in a good mood works too! After the session, a Google Drive link consisting of all unedited JPEGs from the session will be sent to your email and yours to keep, from which you can choose up to eight photos - free of charge! - for post-processing. The processed, high-quality images will be sent back to you typically within 1 to 2 weeks.

If that's the case, no worries! You should have access to all of the pictures that you'd like. For events especially, sometimes it's about having pictures of the right moments, and there might be countless memories in the session of which you'd like to edit. Each additional picture is an added fee of $25.00 for something that is priceless.

If you have a specific idea for your pictures or a location in mind, send me a “mood board” with and we will make it happen. Otherwise, come well-rested, dressed up, and excited!

I personally love natural light and prefer shooting outdoors. However, indoor shoots have their own quality and charm; if you have an indoor location in mind, we can discuss plans in regards to lighting and what we may need to bring to the shoot to create the most flattering shooting environment!

I understand that the focus of a photoshoot is to get quality personal photos. If that means going off to a location that means something special to you, we should definitely do it. There is no extra charge for a location that is accessible within thirty minutes driving of Midtown Atlanta. However, any shoots taking place in locations beyond that perimeter will have an additional nominal fee based on mileage or travel time.

I shoot on a Canon R5 Mark II, and I typically do portraiture with my Sigma Art 50mm f/1.4 lens, and a Sigma Art 24mm f/1.4 or a Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 for group settings.
For videography, I use my R5 Mark II in conjunction with a Canon 5D Mark IV; stabilization equipment include a Manfrotto XPRO and a Moza Air 2 gimbal, and I also use a Movo VXR10 for any audio recording.

I use Adobe Lightroom for the majority of my editing, with select details taken care of in Adobe Photoshop. A typical edit will look like this:
